Four phases, one thread
The history falls into four phases.
- Boards (2005–2010). MJK began inside the display, not around it. The mainboard decides what a display can play and connect to, and that knowledge still shapes the Android boards the company sells today.
- Software and platforms (2007–2013). Publishing software in 2007 and the move to Allwinner and Rockchip Android in 2011 turned screens into networked, remotely managed devices.
- Complete terminals (2013–2020). Video walls and interactive panels, then class boards in 2017, face-recognition terminals and smart lockers in 2019, and temperature-screening terminals in 2020.
- Scale and export (2021–2026). Registration of Guangdong Mingjinkang Technology in Dongguan and, in 2026, DisplaySourcing.com for buyers outside China.
The thread is in-house design of the board and the software. That is why the factory can change the mainboard, housing and software on OEM and ODM orders, not only the logo.
The company today
MJK runs a 10,000 m² factory with a daily output of more than 1,000 units. It has companies and regional sales and service centers in Shenzhen, Dongguan and Guangzhou, and more than 20 agents. It has served more than 50 listed-company clients and holds more than 100 patents and software copyrights.
